چکیده

In this paper, a novel model for the dynamic reliability analysis of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell system is developed to account multi-state dynamics and ageing. The modelling approach involves combination physical stochastic sub-models with shared variables. consists deterministic calculations state described by variables such as temperature, pressure, mass flow rates voltage output. Additionally, estimated component degradation are also taken into account. non-deterministic implemented Petri nets which failures balance plant components within system. Using approach, effects operating conditions on were investigated. Monte Carlo simulations process highlighted clear influence both purging load cycles longevity

PEM fuel cell electrodes

The design of electrodes for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) is a delicate balancing of transport media. Conductance of gas, electrons, and protons must be optimized to provide efficient transport to and from the electrochemical reactions. This is accomplished through careful consideration of the volume of conducting media required by each phase and the distribution of the respe...

Dynamic Response during PEM Fuel Cell Loading-up

A study on the effects of controlling and operating parameters for a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell on the dynamic phenomena during the loading-up process is presented. The effect of the four parameters of load-up amplitudes and rates, operating pressures and current levels on gas supply or even starvation in the flow field is analyzed based accordingly on the transient characteristic...

Model Based Fault Diagnosis in Pem Fuel Cell Systems

ABSTRACT: In this work, a model based fault diagnosis methodology for PEM fuel cell systems is presented. The methodology is based on computing residuals, indicators that are obtained comparing measured inputs and outputs with analytical relationships, which are obtained by system modelling. The innovation of this methodology is based on the characterization of the relative residual fault sensi...
